Steps to get started
To get the most out of eero Plus & eero Secure, follow the quick steps below and unlock your full protection.
STEP 1: Download and install
Download both the Go Kinetic app and the eero mobile app on your devices. Go Kinetic helps you register and access all your security features.
STEP 2: Complete registration
If you’re new, follow the steps to register in the Go Kinetic app. Already a user? Just log in with your current info to get started.
STEP 3: Launch eero mobile app
Open the app and log in with your Go Kinetic credentials to begin using your protection tools.
STEP 4: Set up your account
Follow the in-app instructions to finish set-up and account registration.
STEP 5: Stay protected
Make sure all your devices are connected and up to date to keep your coverage strong.

Advanced Security
Turn on Advanced Security From the Home tab
Tap on Security & privacy section.
Tap on Network controls.
Toggle on Advanced Security.
Note: Advanced Security is turned on by default.
Ad Block
Improve your browsing and streaming experience by blocking ads, pop-ups, and trackers on your devices.
Turn on Ad Blocking From the Home tab
Tap on the Security & privacy section.
In the Security & privacy integrations tap on Network controls section.
Toggle on Ad Blocking.
Note: You can also configure to apply Ad blocking to profiles instead of applying to the entire network.
Activity History
See data usage, how many scans eero Plus has performed, how many threats it has blocked, the number of ad blocks, and content filter activity. View network, eero and device Events that happened in the last 14 days.
View Data Usage, Scans, Threat Blocks, Ad Blocks, and Content Filter activity From the Home tab
Tap on the Security & privacy section.
In the Advanced network settings and insights section, tap on Activity history.
Tap into the Internet speeds, data usage, scans, or threats graphs to see activity by profile and device. Note: Scans and threats will show up if Advanced Security is turned on.
Tap on Unlock more activity to see ad blocking and content filter activity and tap into each graph to see profile and device level history.
To view Events, tap on the clock icon on the top right of the Activity tab.
Profiles
Create profiles so that you can set custom schedules, control internet access, and apply content filters by profile.
Create a profile From the Home tab
Click on the blue Plus in the top right.
Select Add a Profile from the pop-up menu.
Add a profile name.
Select which devices to add to the profile.
Tap Done.
Content Filters
Set restrictions for designated devices based on age or content categories.
Set up Content Filters (from a Profile)
Select Content filters section.
Tap the desired filter level and tap Apply.
Toggle on/off individual content filter categories as desired.
Set up Content Filters (from Home tab)
Tap on the Security & privacy section.
In the Security & privacy integrations, tap on the Content controls.
Tap on Content filters.
Select the profile for which you want to set up content filters.
Tap the desired filter level and click Apply.
Toggle on/off individual content filter categories as desired.
Allow & Block sites
Prevent particular websites from displaying on certain family members’ devices.
Add a blocked site (from Profile)
Select Network controls.
Tap on Block & Allow Sites.
Tap Add Blocked Site.
Enter the URL of the website you wish to block.
Select Profiles for which you want to block the site (or select Network to block it for all users on the network).

Tap on Security & privacy section.
In the Security & privacy integrations, tap on Network controls.
Tap Block & Allow Sites.
Tap Add Blocked Site.
Enter the URL of the website you wish to block.
Select the Profiles for which you want to block the site (or select Network to block it for all users on the network). Note: To add an allowed site, follow these same steps but toggle to the Allowed tab and select Add Allowed Site on Step 3.
Block apps

Add a blocked app (From Profile)
Select Network controls.
Tap on Block apps.
Select the Profiles for which you want to block app(s) (or select Network to block it for all users on the network).
Enter the name of the app you wish to block in the search bar or filter by categories.
Tap Done.

In the Security & privacy integrations, tap on Network controls.
Tap on Block apps.
Select the Profiles for which you want to block the app (or select Network to block it for all users on the network).
Enter the name of the app you wish to block n the search bar or filter by categories.
Tap Done. Note: To add an allowed app, follow these same steps but toggle to the Allowed tab and select Add Allowed App on Step 3.
Internet Backup
Keep your network online when an outage occurs.
Tap on the Security & privacy section.
In the Advanced network settings and insights section, tap on eero Internet Backup.
Toggle on eero Internet Backup.
Tap on Add a backup network and follow the in app instructions.
Note: You can also access Internet Backup from Home > Internet > eero Internet Backup.
VPN
Browse the web securely and privately.
Manage VPN
From the Home tab
Tap on the Security & privacy section.
In the Security & privacy integrations, tap on the VPN.
Toggle on VPN and change the location if needed.
Note: Once you have enabled VPN, you can turn it on or off through the Security & privacy section on the Home tab.
Antivirus protection with Malwarebytes
Scan, clean, and protect your devices on and off network from viruses and ransomware.
Manage Malwarebytes
From account.eero.com tab
Navigate to account.eero.com in your favorite browser.
Login using your Phone #, email, or your Amazon Account.
Click Setup Malwarebytes.
Click Create Account.
Follow the steps provided by Malwarebytes. Learn more about enabling on Android devices or signing up if you already have a Malwarebytes subscription.
Password management with 1Password
Safely create, store, and share unique passwords in one central place.
Manage 1Password
From Home tab
Tap on the Security & privacy section.
In Security & privacy integrations, tap on the Password manager.
Tap on either Link your other 1Password account if you already have a subscription, or tap on Manage account at 1Password and follow the instructions.
Dynamic DNS
Remotely access your network and devices.
Manage Dynamic DNS From the Home tab
Tap on the Security & privacy section.
In the Advanced network settings and insights section, tap on Dynamic DNS.
Toggle on or off Dynamic DNS.
Tap and hold Domain to copy the domain address.
Wifi Radio Analytics
Notifications
Manage which eero Plus notifications you receive.

Select Notifications.
