Kinetic names Sarah Hardin vice president of governmental affairs in the Carolinas
RALEIGH, N.C. — Kinetic, a leading provider of advanced network communications and technology solutions, today announced that it has named Sarah Hardin to serve as its vice president for governmental affairs for North Carolina and South Carolina.
Hardin becomes a Kinetic vice president following recent roles leading government affairs efforts for the state lottery and the North Carolina Dental Society. At both she managed state campaigns as well as coordinated with Washington-based congressional leaders and policy experts. Before that, she shaped North Carolina state policy and regulatory reform for a major telecommunications company on such issues as broadband Internet deployment.
Hardin will be based in Raleigh and report to Stacy Hale, president of operations for Kinetic in the Carolinas.
“Kinetic customers here have everything to gain from Sarah’s hire,” Hale said. “She is a blue-chip talent and a well-regarded leader in public policy in the state capital, coordinating huge public investments like the North Carolina Education Lottery and, before that, regulatory reform in telecommunications. Hardin is a proud graduate of North Carolina State University in Raleigh where she majored in communications with a minor in Spanish. Last year she was named the 8th most powerful lobbyist in the state by “Longleaf Politics.”
