Fast Forward Canton: A Week of Free Community Fun

Big news, Canton, GA: You're officially a Gig-Ready community. We just passed 30,000 locations connected, which means that more than 75% of the homes in our community now have access to Kinetic's fast, reliable fiber internet.
It's a huge milestone, and we’re celebrating with free events across town Aug. 31 - Sept. 5. Mark your calendars and don’t miss the lineup of family-friendly events we have planned.
Movie night under the marquee
Headlining the week will be a night of movie magic. On Thursday, Sept. 3, Kinetic is taking over the historic Canton Theatre for Lights, Fiber, Action, a free Hollywood-style movie night featuring a special screening of Inside Out 2.
The doors open at 5:30 p.m., so you’ll have plenty of time to walk the red carpet, snap a free family photo with a professional photographer, take a spin in front of our 360 camera, and grab a popcorn and soda on us before you snag the best seats in the house. The movie starts at 7 p.m. Seating is limited, so reserve your spot early.
More ways to join the celebration
The rest of the week is packed too, so pick your favorites or come to all of them.
Wednesday, Sept. 2 — Kinetic Digital Literacy Program at the Senior Center: From 11 a.m. - noon at the Canton Senior Center, we're hosting a free, beginner-friendly course on getting the most out of your internet and devices, plus effective tips on how to stay safe online. Light refreshments and giveaways included.
Friday, Sept. 4 — First Friday in Downtown Canton: Find the Kinetic booth downtown from 6 - 9 p.m. Bring your creativity and add your artistic touch to our community canvas — kids can also color their own masterpiece for free and take home a prize! Afterwards, the canvas will be displayed at our Kinetic Canton office for all to appreciate.
Friday, Sept. 4 — Fiber Night Lights: Cheer on the Sequoyah High School Chiefs at home as they take on the Trojans of Lee County. Stop by our booth at the game, starting at 6:30 p.m., for some game-day swag before kickoff at 7:30 p.m.
Why we're celebrating
Fiber is the best foundation for Canton's future, offering faster speeds and better reliability to support everything from streaming and gaming to remote work, telehealth, and growing local businesses. Hitting this milestone means more of our Canton neighbors can internet better, but we’re not slowing down. We'll keep adding fiber locations across the community and keep investing in Canton’s future.
