Kinetic joins the Rainbow Room to help kids head back to school with confidence

Back to school is an exciting time for many families, but for others, it can come with added challenges. That’s why Kinetic was proud to partner with Rainbow Room’s Back to School Project, helping kids in our community return to the classroom with the tools they need to succeed.

The Rainbow Room’s Back to School Project provides clothing and school supplies to school aged children involved in Child Protective Services (CPS) cases. Each child receives school supplies based on their grade level, a backpack, four outfits (including shirt and pants), shoes, socks, and underwear.

For many of these students, these essentials are more than just items. They are a chance to start the school year feeling prepared and confident, just like their peers.

Education plays a key role in breaking the generational cycle of abuse and neglect. That’s why this project matters. In 2024 alone, 395 children received back to school support through the program, a 67% increase over the previous year.

This year, the Kinetic team donated more than 100 items of new clothing, along with a $3,000 donation from our local operations. That donation will help 20 children get the supplies they need for a strong start to the school year.
