Mark Your Calendars, Sugar Land, TX: Fast Forward Week Is Almost Here
By Whitney Seely - Associate Director of Marketing
Fall in Sugar Land is about to get a whole lot more fun. From Sept. 14–19, we're hosting Fast Forward Week, a full schedule of events at ballparks, football fields, and community spaces all over town. Everyone's welcome, and we'd love to see you there.
What we're celebrating
After growing our network by nearly 25% this past year alone, Kinetic has now added more than 7,600 new fiber locations in the greater Fort Bend area, surpassing a major milestone of 40,000 homes passed.
We’re connecting more of our friends and neighbors to our fast, reliable, next-generation internet, built to handle everything from streaming and gaming to remote work, telehealth, agriculture, and local business.
While we're proud of the milestone, we're not done. We'll keep expanding across the Fort Bend area. But we wanted to take this opportunity to thank the Sugar Land community by showing up where it counts.
A full line-up of family-friendly events
We packed the calendar so there's something for everyone.
Tuesday, Sept. 15. We're kicking things off with a free, hands-on tech-refresher course at GiGi's Playhouse from 11 a.m. to noon. Bring your questions about your internet, online safety, or the devices you use every day, and we'll help you feel more confident with all of it.
Thursday, Sept. 17. It's Fiber Night Lights at the stadium. Find the Kinetic crew at the Ridge Point vs. Strake Jesuit football game starting at 6 p.m. for free swag and plenty of team spirit.
Friday, Sept. 18. We're back for another round of Fiber Night Lights at the Austin vs. Bush game at 6 p.m., then heading over to the ballpark, where our chief marketing officer, Cliff Dinwiddie, will throw out the first pitch at the Sugar Land Space Cowboys game at 7:05 p.m. We’ll be there with free swag, so don’t miss out.
Saturday, Sept. 19. We're closing out the week at the Sugar Land Fall Festival. Swing by our booth from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for family fun and more free swag.
See you around town
We’ll be out and about across the community all week long. So come say hi, grab some swag, and celebrate a faster, more connected Sugar Land with us.
And if you haven't already, check to see if your home is one of the 40,000 Fort Bend locations that can now access Kinetic’s fast, reliable fiber internet.
