Kinetic's Better Together Buddy Program is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a chance to join our team alongside someone you already know and trust — and earn up to $7,500 in bonus cash while you're at it.
What is the Better Together Buddy Program?
The Better Together Buddy Program pairs two friends who apply for open full-time door-to-door (D2D) sales roles at Kinetic at the same time.
If you and your buddy both get hired and start within 30 days of each other, you get to support each other through onboarding and training, and you both earn an impressive bonus. And since all Kinetic full-time D2D sales positions offer unlimited commission and a generous base salary too, there’s no cap on your earning potential.
You and your buddy bring the hustle and drive. We’ll make sure you’re rewarded.
The bonus breakdown
Each person in a Buddy Pair earns up to $2,500 through the program, so $5,000 total per pair. The bonus pays out in two installments:
$1,250 after 90 days
Another $1,250 after 180 days
Both of you need to be actively employed and in good standing at each payout milestone to qualify.
Even better, the Buddy Program bonus stacks with Kinetic's standard sign-on bonus. So both you and your friend can also earn up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus each, paid out over 12 months:
$1,000 after completing your 5-week residency
$2,000 at six months
$2,000 at the one-year mark
Put it all together, and you're looking at up to $7,500 per person just for starting strong and staying the course, right alongside a friend.

The Better Together Buddy Program is open to new hires joining as a pair for full-time door-to-door sales roles across our 18-state footprint. Both buddies need to start within 30 days of each other, but they don’t have to work in the same market.

Do my buddy and I have to apply for the same role?
Both candidates need to be D2D Sales reps (Consumer Sales Specialists), but they can be in different markets. Check with your recruiter for specifics.
How close do our start dates need to be?
Both buddies must have start dates within 30 calendar days of each other to qualify as a pair.
When do we get paid?
The Buddy Program bonus pays out in two installments: $1,250 after 90 days of active service and $1,250 after 180 days, processed as soon as administratively possible following each milestone, based on the later of the two start dates.
What does "good standing" mean?
Both employees must be actively employed and not on a performance improvement plan (PIP) or final warning at the time of each payout.
What if my buddy leaves before the payout milestone?
Both individuals need to be employed and in good standing at each payout date. If one person doesn't meet that requirement, neither receives that installment.
Can I participate in the Buddy Program more than once?
Each employee is eligible for one Buddy Program payout.
Does the Buddy Program bonus stack with the sign-on bonus?
Yes! The $2,500 Buddy Program bonus stacks with the standard $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible new hires, bringing your total potential earnings from bonuses alone to $7,500.
(Note: Since both buddies are considered new hires, neither is eligible for the standard $500 Uniti employee referral bonus.)
