how do I apply for the income assist internet plan?

See if your household qualifies. Check the Income qualification section below.
Step 3
Apply and submit the necessary documents, following the How to apply instructions below.
Step 4
Kinetic will contact you with one of the following:
1. We cannot deliver fiber to your address.
2. You are verified and approved for service.
3. We request more information.

Kinetic Fiber is available in the following metro areas: Bemus Point, Central Square, Chautauqua, Clymer, Ellington, Frewsburg, Fulton, Jamestown, Manlius, Marcellus, Munnsville, Phoenix, Randolph, Shortsville, Sinclairville, Steamburg, West Winfield
However, not all addresses have fiber available so Kinetic will verify your address for fiber service, in addition to your income qualification.

new customers
If you are a new Kinetic customer, do not submit a service order prior to receiving confirmation of your eligibility.
You must submit your application for the Income Assist Internet Plan first and when we confirm your eligibility, we will contact you to start your service order.
If your address qualifies for Kinetic service, but you are determined not to be eligible for the Income Assist Internet Plan, we will contact you to see if you want to move forward with a standard service order.
existing customers
If you are an existing Kinetic customer, please submit your application following the instructions below.
If you are determined to be eligible, we will contact you to: (1) adjust your internet speed from your current selection to 200mbps, and (2) adjust your monthly cost for your internet service to $20 per month as of the date your eligibility is confirmed.
If you are determined not to be eligible for the Income Assist Internet Plan, we will notify you of our determination.
income qualification
Income qualification is based on eligibility or participation in one of the following programs, and proof of that program:
National School Lunch Program (NSLP): A document confirming your child’s participation, including their name, school name, and address
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP): A copy of your SNAP card or the most recent eligibility letter showing your name
Medicaid: A Medicaid card or an eligibility letter for any household member
Senior citizen rent increase exemption: A copy of your exemption document
Disability rent increase exemption: A copy of your exemption document
Utility affordability benefit: A copy of your benefit document
how to apply
Step 1: Complete this application form.
Step 2: Print the form or save it to your computer or mobile phone.
Step 3: Gather your qualification documents to make copies to send to us:
Proof of participation in the income qualification program listed on the application form
Government issued photo ID
Step 4: Send the three documents (1) application form, (2) copy of proof of participation in the income qualification program, and (3) copy of a government issued photo ID to us via email or USPS mail.
